BAD PENNY CLASSIC + CUSTOM SERVICES LTD - TERMS OF SERVICE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY


  • Charge out rate is $100 per hour + GST ($115 inclusive)

  • All vehicles including parts and goods will be retained by Bad Penny Classic & Custom Services LTD until payment is made in full, or previously arranged.

  • Invoices are generated weekly for ongoing projects.  Payment is expected within 5 days.  Work will cease if payment is not made; storage fees may apply until payment is received in full *see below re storage fees

  • All other jobs – full payment is on collection

  • Interest may be charged on any amount outstanding after invoice due date at a rate of 2.5% per month or part thereof

  • Any costs incurred in collecting outstanding debt will be payable by the customer.  All debt will automatically be referred to Baycorp after 90 days of no payment

  • Due to the nature of our business, we can only “estimate” not quote

  • We reserve the right to increase our charge out rate at any given time without notice (existing jobs will be given 5 days notice)

Payment Types

  • Bank transfer is preferred; however, we accept cash/EFTPOS and major credit cards.  Please note all credit card payments will incur a 3% surcharge

Storage Fees

  • If the customer chooses to pause work; and the vehicle remains at Bad Penny (dependent on available space) a storage fee of $50.00 + gst per week will apply

Wire wheel policy

  • If you have wire/knock off wheels on your vehicle we ask you to check all wheels and sign an acknowledgement form before leaving the premises

Reproduction parts

  • Due to the nature of reproduction parts, we cannot guarantee the correct fitment – this may result in an extra cost to rectify

  • After market stainless trim moldings tend to be of a thinner grade material which in turn can deform or get damaged easily during installation.  All care will be taken on installation to minimise damage however we do this at the customers risk

Modifications/tampering Post Vehicle Leaving Bad Penny

  • We cannot guarantee our work if another person/business has modified or tampered with the work we have completed.  If there are any issues, please contact us in the first instance so we can rectify to avoid this situationDue to the nature of reproduction parts, we cannot guarantee the correct fitment – this may result in an extra cost to rectify

Rust

  • Due to the nature of rust, we cannot accurately estimate any repair costs as it is very difficult to judge from the surface – it is not until the vehicle is cut into/explored that the full extent of work is revealed.  In most cases the rust is much worse than anticipated.  Please have a contingency plan for the worst case scenario

Deadlines

  • We do not work towards deadlines ie Beach Hop, Americarna, birthdays etc.  We do not rush any job as it could compromise quality and safety

Out of town clients

  • We stand by our workmanship – if remedial work is needed, we are more than happy to complete it.  Please note it is the clients responsibility/cost to get the vehicle to Bad Penny and collected after the work has been completed.  Please consider this before work commences on your vehicle if you are an out of town client
